Baptism, BBQ and Boston

This Sunday, the church met in three separate regions – East, North and Campus – for House Church Services. Not only was the weather incredible, but the Lord blessed us with the baptism of Silvia – a professional hair and make-up artist, who through the efforts largely of the Campus Ministry made Jesus her Lord. Silvia, who is originally from Italy, shared through tears how grateful she was that God had delivered her from the pit of darkness as she had been enslaved for much of her life with drug addiction. At the Leaders Meeting, we enjoyed an incredible BBQ, as “Molten Coltin” inspired us with a sermon, which was filled with slide-show photos of the Rohns’ “spying out the land” trip to Boston, which included a picture of the home where the “30 would-be-disciples gathered in the GEMPELS’ LIVING-ROOM!” Can’t wait to see you all at GLC!
