1 Timothy 4: 12
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
This sunday service the church was so enouraged to hear Phil, our campus leader, knock out his best sermon yet. It was amazing to hear his conviction, devotion to God and loyalty to the fellowship.
Phil has demonstrated an ability to learn and to stick to his guns even in times of difficulty. When someone shows the ability to see things through even when they are not going the way that they intended they have the heart to become truely great in time. I know that its Phils dream to be a church leader. I believe when his time comes to step into the breach of church leadership he will make us all proud.
I’m very greatful to belong to a fellowship that will train young ministers and humble themselves to even take on people like myself to lift up instead of creating a “power circle” of older ministers who are afraid for thier jobs. It warms my heart to know that Phil, as a friend, is in a fellowship that will rebuke, correct and encourage him to be the man that he wants to be.
I know there are plenty of young men out there in Europe who share Phils dream but who are not in fellowships that will actually train them or responsibilize them in a serious way. I encourage you to come out to the Gathering this year and reset your course back on the path of your dreams!
Listen to Phils sermon, its at the top of the page.
